Dhanshala (dhanshala.com) is a financial education initiative by Sagar Sinha. This page explains what we collect when you use the site, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

Calculator inputs stay on your device. The numbers you type into the calculators are worked out in your browser and are never sent to us.

The call-back form. If you choose to fill it in, we collect your name, mobile number, city, what you want help with and, if you give it, your email. We also record which page you were on and how you reached the site (for example, a link from Instagram), so we understand which content is useful.

Your browser's storage. The site remembers your light or dark mode choice and whether you've already seen or filled in the form, so it doesn't keep asking. This stays in your browser.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which calculators are used. It uses cookies and doesn't give us your name or contact details.

Why we collect it

We use your contact details only to call or message you about the help you asked for, and to tell you about Dhanshala and Sagar Sinha's financial education content. We don't sell your details.

Where it's kept

Form submissions are stored in a Google Sheet that only the Dhanshala team can open. Google processes this data for us as a service provider.

How long we keep it

We keep your details for as long as we need them to help you, and for up to two years after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the details we hold, correct them, or delete them, and you can withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time. Email us at the address in the site footer and we'll act on it within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
